The idea of creating a website / weblog dedicated exclusively to game videos and trailers came to me in a moment of sheer laziness.

I know I should probably lie and say that I wanted to give something back to the gaming community at large, but that wasn’t really my initial inspiration in creating Game Videos Network.

One thing I do quite a lot is search for domain names that I like. This one, amazingly, happened to be available, and so I registered it. I was keen on the idea of making a site about gaming videos as I figured that it would be something I could add a large amount of content relatively quickly, and without huge effort.

I realise this sounds quite bad on my part, but as I mentioned earlier, I’d rather be honest!

After the initial concept had been realised in the form of Game-Videos.net, I started getting to really enjoy making the site, and enjoying what I’d actually be providing, rather than just trying to create a ‘quick and easy’ site.

Now, hopefully you’re not too put off by my candor, and that even if you are, you will continue to look at the videos we’re providing.
